At David Williams, we’re dedicated to revolutionizing the way traders approach the financial markets.
David Zheng bin 2006 mit einer chinesischen Delegation nach Hamburg gekommen – und geblieben.
Seither arbeite ich an der Schnittstelle zwischen der deutschen und der chinesischen Digitalwirtschaft: zunächst als Vertreter eines chinesischen Softwareverbands, seit 2009 als unabhängiger Berater und Unternehmer.
Diese Position ist ungewöhnlich, und genau darin liegt ihr Wert. Ich kenne beide Seiten nicht aus Berichten, sondern aus der täglichen Praxis: wie chinesische Technologieunternehmen Märkte bewerten und Entscheidungen treffen – und wie deutsche Unternehmen einkaufen, prüfen und Verantwortung zuordnen. Wer nur eine dieser beiden Logiken kennt, übersetzt zwangsläufig falsch.
Meine Arbeit ist unabhängig. Ich vertrete keinen Anbieter, arbeite nicht auf Provisionsbasis und werde nicht von chinesischer Seite bezahlt. Das ist keine Formalie: Es ist die Voraussetzung dafür, dass meine Einschätzung überhaupt etwas wert ist. Zu meiner Arbeit gehört ausdrücklich auch die Antwort „Das passt nicht zu Ihrem Unternehmen.“
Ich bin Mitglied bei Hamburg@work und veröffentliche regelmäßig Analysen zur chinesischen KI- und Softwarebranche und ihrer Relevanz für den deutschen Mittelstand.
